P&G Puts Brands on the Block

Competitors expected to make bids.

It reads like a list of long-time, fast-moving consumer goods brands—Wella, Hugo Boss and even Ivory. Procter & Gamble is ready to make good on its promise to concentrate on core brands and the three above, and many more, just don't make the cut. Earlier this month P&G  sent sale documents to potential bidders for its Wella haircare unit along with cosmetics brands and its fragrance business, according to Bloomberg.
